✦ A Fallen Star is about the encounter between Ryuuza: a celestial dragon that is injured from a mysterious cause, and Luna: a moon wizard that helps Ryuuza with her magical practice and potions✦ My film is about a celestial dragon that falls from the stars. They appear wounded especially in the pelvic area. I created this story to portray my first period in a more magical/fantasy environment. My period story is about how it came suddenly without any warning. I have also been medically diagnosed to have menorrhagia, which is when the bleeding is extremely heavy, while also having severe cramps. Nevertheless, to help with the pain and blood I attempted to take a bath to help, which a short temporary remedy. The moment I stepped out of the restroom I fainted from the pain. Luckily my mother "rescued" me by using a type of topical muscle medication to relieve my cramps. My period story ends with the pain slowly subsiding and drifting off to sleep, but in this film my character is reborn, as are all AFAB females after their first period

Hi There!
My name is Nicole Lee. I am a gender-fluid (she/her/they), American born Chinese illustrator and storyboard artist based in El Monte, California.I graduated from CSULA's Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation in 2023. During my time there I achieved the Dean's List from Spring 2019 to 2022, and during graduation I was given the honor of magna cum laude.For experience I have done independent commission work with personal clients, as well as from a non-profit organization North East Trees.It would be an honor to work with you on your next project! My passion lies in creating expressive illustrations that harmonize with eloquent storytelling about struggles that individuals go through, whether it is internal or external.
